Fairway Joy Week 2019 - Habitat for Humanity ReStore

Each year Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation Nationwide spends the first full week of May spreading JOY to others as a way of sharing the happiness that fills the hearts of all Fairway employees. This week celebrates JOY, caring, kindness and happiness. During this week Fairway employees engage in various acts of kindness, words of empowerment, volunteerism and more!

Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Taylors, SC -

We spent the Friday of Fairway Joy Week at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Taylors, South Carolina. This store helps build and fund 12 homes a year for families in need in our area. All profits made at the store go to the homes building materials, appliances, etc that they help provide. We had some of our team helping by taking in donations in the back where they are processed, labeling them and putting them out on the floor. We had the rest of our team re-designing the 'vanity rooms' that the store uses to display items they have for sale! This was such a fun and rewarding experience. We were so happy to be a part of something in our community that's so amazing. Giving safe, functional, and affordable homes to working families goes hand in hand with what we do here at Fairway.
